Members of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria have been commended for conducting themselves in a disciplined and peaceful manner in the State.
The Head of Service of Delta State, Dr (Mrs.) Mininim Oseji gave the commendation when she played host to the Executive Members of the Association.
While appreciating their double roles as union leaders and civil servants, she advised them to remember that the Civil Service was a rule based system that must grow by the sacrifices they make.

The HOS promised to carry them along by involving them in her activities as senior officers have been part of her reform programmes all along.
The Association members were encouraged to embrace peace and dialogue in order to have the civil service of our dreams.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Union, Mr. Martin Bolum congratulated her on her appointment to the post of the Head of Service and pledged their loyalty and support in ensuring that the reforms and new approaches in running the affairs of government were complied with .
Other groups who paid courtesy visits were, Bureau For Local Government Pensions, Coordinated Unions of Tertiary Institutions in Delta State, National Executive Members of Idumuje-Unor Patriotic Union of Nigeria and Nigeria Association of the Blind.
