KURUTIE – ACADEMIC and Non-academic staff of the Nigeria Maritime University Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu, Warri South Local Government Area will Tuesday embark on indefinite strike to protest non payment of over 30 months allowances and poor staff welfare. This decision was reached yesterday after a meeting of staff at the temporary campus in Kurutie with media attendance. In a resolution signed by Comrades Oweikeye Pathfinder Endoro and Moses Yabrade after the meeting, the staff unanimously endorsed the strike.
