As the joy and warmth of Christmas fill homes and hearts across the land, the Member representing Oshimili South State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Ifechukwukwu Bridget Anyafulu, has extended an emotional and heartfelt Christmas message to the people, calling for love, forgiveness, peace, and hope.
Speaking on behalf of her family, Hon. Anyafulu described Christmas as a sacred season that reminds humanity of God’s unfailing love and the power of compassion in healing hearts and communities.
“May this Christmas bring deep peace to your hearts, joy and love to your homes, tolerance in our relationships, and renewed hope for the future,” she prayed.
She urged citizens to allow the spirit of the season to soften hearts, mend broken relationships, and inspire acts of kindness, especially toward the vulnerable and less privileged.
According to the lawmaker, Christmas is not only a time for celebration but a call to forgive, to love unconditionally, and to put humanity above division, to the glory of God.
“As we celebrate the season of giving, may we embrace forgiveness and love, so that our communities may grow stronger, kinder, and more united,” she said.
