Senator Ede Dafinone of Delta Central Senatorial District has showered encomiums on the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on the occasion of his 47th birthday, describing him as a purposeful leader whose stewardship has strengthened democratic governance in the state.
In a goodwill message issued on April 1, 2026, the lawmaker praised Guwor’s leadership style, noting that under his watch, the State Assembly has continued to operate with unity, discipline and a firm commitment to its constitutional responsibilities.
He particularly commended the Speaker for fostering a cordial and productive relationship with the Executive arm of government in line with the state’s MORE Agenda, a synergy he said has enhanced governance and accelerated development across Delta State.
According to Dafinone, Guwor’s leadership has also contributed significantly to sustaining peace, stability and inclusive governance in the state.
“This special day offers a fitting moment to celebrate your life of service, your dedication to leadership, and your continued contributions to the growth and stability of Delta State,” the Senator stated, while wishing the Speaker good health, divine wisdom and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
Meanwhile, the Senator also felicitated with renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist, Brodericks Uvie Arigbodi, on his 60th birthday, describing him as a transformative figure whose contributions to society remain impactful.
Dafinone, in a separate message, lauded the Olokun of Agbon Kingdom for his strides in the oil and gas sector as well as his sustained commitment to human capital development through the Arigbodi Foundation.
He described the celebrant as a visionary industrialist and community leader whose investments in youth empowerment and community development have positively influenced lives across Delta State and beyond.
“His commitment to enterprise and philanthropy has made a lasting and measurable difference in the lives of many,” the Senator noted.
The lawmaker further said Arigbodi’s life of enterprise, generosity and service stands as a source of inspiration, particularly to the younger generation.
On behalf of the people of Delta Central Senatorial District, Dafinone prayed for continued good health, wisdom and even greater accomplishments for the celebrant.
The twin messages, observers say, underscore the Senator’s recognition of both public service leadership and private sector-driven philanthropy as critical pillars for sustainable development in Delta State.
