In a heartwarming demonstration of community support and commitment to youth and women development, the Chairman/CEO of Danmotech Holdings and the Omoghagha of Oleh Kingdom, High Chief Engr. Omoyibo Daniel (Danmotech), has donated a Hummer bus to the Positive Impact for Women and Youth Development Initiative.
The donation took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, during a courtesy visit by the leadership and members of the association to the business mogul’s country home in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area.
Welcoming the team at the conference hall of Danmotech Hotel, the Isoko South Coordinator of the initiative, Omeni-Anyisire Slyvoa, praised Engr. Omoyibo for his outstanding contributions to human capital development and philanthropy across Isoko nation and beyond. She described him as “a beacon of hope whose generosity continues to uplift countless families.”
In her remarks, the Delta State Coordinator, Hon. Mary Samuel, highlighted the organization’s ongoing agricultural empowerment programs, particularly in the area of rice cultivation and processing. She noted that rice farming presents a highly sustainable tool in tackling hunger and unemployment, as rice can be cultivated up to three times a year, unlike crops with longer maturity periods.
Responding, Engr. Omoyibo commended the initiative for championing self-reliance, skill development, and local agricultural productivity. He described rice as a household staple with strong economic potential and urged the group to remain focused, united, and purpose-driven.
Though noting that his 2025 philanthropic budget was already concluded, the industrialist expressed willingness to include the organization in his funding plans from next year. However, in an inspiring gesture of immediate support, he announced the donation of a Hummer bus to enhance the group’s mobility, outreach efforts, and project execution capacity.
“I am going to give a token,” he said. “And the token I am giving this great organization is a Hummer Bus to ease your mobility as you continue your good work.
”He further encouraged members to embrace teamwork, love, humility, and forgiveness, stressing that lasting progress is only possible when people work together with a shared sense of purpose.
The visit ended in joy and heartfelt appreciation, as members expressed that the gesture would greatly strengthen their empowerment activities across rural communities in Delta State.
