The Head of Service of Delta State, Dr. (Mrs.) Mininim Oseji has charged all key players to do their due diligence in the consideration, approval and disbursement of Housing and Vehicle Loans to beneficiaries.
She gave the charge when presenting
cheques to some Civil Servants in her office at Asaba.
While commending the Permanent Secretary, office of the Head of Service, Mr Maxwell Ause for a job well done, the Head of Service directed that the list of all those who have applied for the Vehicle and Housing Loans and their expected date for disbursement be compiled for display.
Promising to follow due process, the Head of Service disclosed that approvals and disbursement would be based on first come basis and subject to qualification.
She maintained that the Housing and Vehicle Loans Schemes must be seen to be operational in a manner that was fair, just and transparent.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the office, Mr Maxwell Ause who doubles as the Chairman of the Loans Committees disclosed that over 700 applications for both loans have been received and collated by the office.
According to the PS out of 11 persons who would be receiving their loans as new beneficiaries, Four persons would get their final instalment of payment for the housing loan.

He promised that other beneficiaries would receive their loans on a monthly basis.
The highpoint of the ceremony was the formal presentation of cheques to the beneficiaries .
Some beneficiaries received the sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Naira to One Million Naira for Vehicle Loans while others got the sum of Two Million Naira to Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira for Housing Loans respectively
