The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has warmly felicitated with Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Mawlid, the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In his heartfelt message on Friday, September 5, 2025, Elumelu urged Nigerians to draw strength and inspiration from the life of the Prophet, whose virtues of patience, humility, selflessness, and generosity remain a guiding light for humanity.
“At this sacred time, let us open our hearts to one another, live in love, show compassion to the less privileged, and always place the good of others above ourselves. By so doing, we will not only honour the Prophet’s legacy but also build a more united and peaceful nation,” he said.
The respected lawmaker also praised the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for his unwavering efforts in promoting good governance, while appealing to leaders at all levels to make the welfare of the people their utmost priority.
On behalf of his family and political associates, Elumelu wished the Muslim community a blessed Eid-ul-Mawlid, praying that the season will fill their homes with peace, their hearts with joy, and their lives with prosperity.
