The College of Former Speakers of the Delta State House of Assembly has extended warm felicitations to the incumbent Speaker, Rt Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, as he marks his 47th birth anniversary.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the group, through its spokesman, Victor Ochei, commended Guwor’s “exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to legislative excellence” since assuming office as Speaker of the 8th Assembly.
Ochei noted that Guwor, who also serves as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, has “demonstrated remarkable capacity in steering the affairs of the Assembly with maturity and foresight, while fostering unity among members.”
He further stated that the Speaker’s leadership has significantly strengthened the Assembly’s role in promoting good governance in the state, adding that “his tenure continues to inspire confidence among critical stakeholders within and beyond Delta State.”
The former Speakers described Guwor as “a worthy ambassador of the legislative arm,” applauding his dedication to service, humility, and collaborative approach to governance, which they said have contributed to a stable and productive Assembly.
They also offered prayers for his continued success, noting, “We wish him greater wisdom, sound health, and more impactful years of service as he continues to lead the Assembly to greater heights.”
Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, who represents Warri South-West Constituency, has earned recognition for his inclusive leadership style and commitment to advancing the legislative agenda of Delta State.
