Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has commended the Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Mininim Oseji, for her unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Delta State, attributing her success to hard work and integrity.
The Governor made this remark during a special thanksgiving service organized in Dr. Oseji’s honour at the Church of God Mission, Asaba.

Governor Oborevwori emphasized that although the appointment of the Head of Service is ultimately at his discretion, he was determined to uphold due process in making this significant decision.
Quoting from Psalm 100:4, the Governor highlighted the importance of thanksgiving, stressing that all good things come from God. He urged Dr. Oseji to continually express gratitude by upholding integrity and faith in her service to the state.

In his sermon, Bishop Nathaniel Mordi encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in their faith, noting that Dr. Oseji’s achievements were a testament to God’s love and grace. He prayed that God would fill her with the Holy Spirit and grant her the wisdom and strength to lead the Delta State Civil Service effectively, ensuring that the workforce thrives under her leadership.
Earlier in her remarks, Dr. Oseji congratulated Governor Oborevwori on his second anniversary in office and expressed her deep appreciation for his presence alongside the Deputy Governor at the service. She thanked God for her elevation to the position of Head of Service and pledged her commitment to serving the state diligently.
Dr. Oseji also urged all civil servants to embrace the governor’s reform initiatives to enhance service delivery for the benefit of all Deltans.
The event was graced by top government officials, including members of the State House of Assembly, Commissioners, former Heads of Service Sir Okey Ofili and Sir Paul Evuarherhe, Special Advisers, members of the College of Permanent Secretaries, and a host of other civil servants.
