The workshop was designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools required to perform their duties with confidence, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
Urging participants to listen attentively and engage actively, the Head of Service stated that the lessons gained from the training would be used to further sensitize the entire workforce on sound financial management practices.
Dr. Oseji commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his continued support toward strengthening the State Civil Service, and also appreciated Kundun Associates for facilitating the programme.
In their separate remarks, the Functioning Permanent Secretary in the Directorate of Establishments and Pensions, Mr. Kingsley Olomukoro, and a Consultant, Dr. Stanley Odigbo, explained that the objective of the training was to update participants with relevant knowledge and skills on best practices, aimed at sustaining a culture of accountability, transparency, and integrity in the Civil Service.
They urged participants to pay close attention to the sessions, noting that they would be exposed to a range of topics including Audit Verification Techniques and Procedures, Fraud Control Strategies, Financial Analysis, and Reporting.
