Nigeria’s Junior Scrabble team has made the nation proud with a dominant outing at the Pan Africa Youth Scrabble Championship in Nairobi, Kenya, winning both the Under-19 and Under-15 titles.
Sophia Ekeruche clinched the U-15 crown, while Prestige Archibong triumphed in the U-19 category, underscoring Nigeria’s depth of talent. The victory reflects the impact of grassroots sports development and reaffirms the Nigerian Scrabble Federation’s leadership in nurturing excellence.
Other top performers are Hassan Olojoku (3rd in U-15) and Abdulqudus Aliu (2nd in U-19), while the Nigerian teams also secured the first-place trophies in both the U-15 and U-19 divisions.
