The Member representing Oshimili South State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Bridget Anyafulu, has extended warm congratulations to former Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.
In a heartfelt message issued on behalf of the people and residents of Oshimili South, Hon. Anyafulu described Senator Okowa as an outstanding leader whose legacy of service continues to inspire many across Delta State, the Anioma region, and Nigeria at large.
She praised Senator Okowa for his exceptional leadership, marked by integrity, diligence, discipline, and a passionate commitment to public service. According to her, his abiding faith in the rule of law, equity, and his dedication to the empowerment of women and girls remain worthy of emulation.
“Your remarkable and exemplary service to our nation, Delta State, and Anioma people will forever remain a source of inspiration and strength to many of us who learned and grew under your wings and guidance, and indeed to future generations of leaders in Nigeria,” she stated.
Hon. Anyafulu also expressed personal gratitude to the former governor for mentoring and giving her the first opportunity to hold political office, a gesture she credited for shaping her political career.
“As you celebrate this special day, I pray that God Almighty blesses you with sound health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful service to our state and fatherland,” she added.

Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, a two-term governor of Delta State and former Vice Presidential candidate, is widely regarded for his developmental strides and advocacy for good governance.
