Veteran Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has revealed details about her love life, dating history, and her thoughts on remarrying during a conversation on the Dear Ife series.
In the interview, the stylish actress shared that she once dated a younger man, describing the experience as “fun” and “seasonal,” but emphasized that she would not pursue such a relationship again.
“There is no need for me to date a younger man. I have dated a younger man and don’t want to do it again. What I want now is different,” she said.
“When I dated a younger man, I was having fun. It was for a season, and the season is over. But there is nothing wrong with it.”
Shaffy admitted she regularly receives messages from both older and younger admirers via her social media direct messages, but noted that many of them come off as unserious.
“Men slide into my DMs, over 50 and even younger men. It’s flattering, but the thing is, some of them are badly behaved. Some will tell me ‘Hi, dear’,” she remarked.
Now in a new phase of her life, Shaffy Bello says she’s open to remarrying, though her views on marriage have evolved.
“What I want now is marriage. I don’t mind marriage. But I have a different opinion when it comes to marriage. I think a lot of people are rigid about it.”
