High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has lauded the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, describing him as a leader whose public service career exemplifies courage, conviction and an unwavering sense of duty.
In a birthday message issued on behalf of the leadership and staff of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), Tompolo said Wike’s journey in public life has been defined by impact rather than rhetoric, noting his legal acumen, political boldness and firm decision-making.
According to him, from Wike’s early years in public administration to his tenure as Governor of Rivers State and his current role as FCT Minister, the former governor has consistently demonstrated resilience, results-oriented leadership and a deep commitment to the public good.
Tompolo observed that Wike’s influence is already being strongly felt in the Federal Capital Territory, particularly through renewed attention to infrastructure development, order and accountability.
“In the Federal Capital Territory, your presence is already being massively felt. The renewed focus on infrastructure, order, and accountability speaks to a hands-on leadership style that understands Abuja’s symbolic and practical importance to Nigeria’s unity and governance,” he said.
The TSSNL founder also commended the minister for his clear understanding of the link between security, development and national stability, noting that Wike’s emphasis on law, order and institutional discipline aligns with Tantita’s mission of protecting critical national assets and promoting a secure environment for sustainable growth.
He further described Wike’s popular sobriquet, “Mr. Project,” as well-deserved, citing his consistent record of performance and willingness to take tough decisions in the discharge of his duties.
“In moments that demand firmness, you have chosen responsibility over convenience, standing by your convictions even when the path was difficult,” Tompolo stated.
As Wike marks another year, Tompolo prayed for renewed strength, wisdom and continued success, expressing confidence that the minister’s ongoing service would leave a lasting imprint on Nigeria’s national development.
“Please accept my sincere best wishes for good health, wisdom, and continued success. May the years ahead bring fulfilment and further contributions to the progress and unity of Nigeria,” he added.
