The Executive Council of the University of Ibadan Alumni Association Worldwide (UIAA), led by its Acting President, Dr. Terrumun Hembaor Gajir, has extended warm and heartfelt birthday felicitations to former President of the Association, Prof. Anthony Kemi Emina, in celebration of his special day.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the global alumni body, the Exco described Prof. Emina as “a dependable leader” whose tenure was marked by stability, unity and purposeful direction for the Association.
According to Dr. Gajir, Prof. Emina’s leadership remains a reference point within the UIAA Worldwide, as he demonstrated uncommon dedication, integrity and commitment to advancing the interests of alumni across continents.
“Prof. Kemi Emina is not only a former President; he is a pillar of strength and a dependable leader whose contributions to the growth and cohesion of our Association continue to inspire us,” the statement read. “His wise counsel, calm disposition and strategic foresight strengthened the foundation upon which we continue to build.”
The Exco noted that under his stewardship, the Association experienced enhanced engagement among chapters, improved institutional relationships and renewed alumni pride rooted in the legacy of the University of Ibadan.
As he marks another year, the UIAA Worldwide prayed for renewed strength, sound health and greater accomplishments for the celebrant. The Association expressed confidence that Prof. Emina’s influence and mentorship would continue to positively shape the alumni community and society at large.
The message concluded with warm congratulations and best wishes for many more years of impactful service, fulfillment and joy.
