Olorogun Kakor Stanley Ese, Director-General of the Delta State Local Content Agency, has congratulated the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, on his appointment as Director of Finance/Treasurer of the 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
Kakor described the appointment as a significant recognition of Governor Oborevwori’s leadership capacity, competence and growing influence in national political affairs.
In a congratulatory message, the Director-General said the appointment was a clear testament to the confidence reposed in the Delta governor by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that entrusting him with a strategic financial responsibility in the 2027 presidential campaign underscores the administration’s appreciation of his organisational ability and record of leadership.
According to him, Governor Oborevwori’s elevation to the national campaign structure was not only an honour to the governor personally but also a recognition of the contributions of Delta State to the political development of the country.
Kakor said the governor had consistently demonstrated the capacity to provide purposeful leadership and mobilise people and resources towards achieving set objectives, qualities which, he noted, would be valuable in the discharge of his new national assignment.
He expressed confidence that Governor Oborevwori would bring his wealth of experience, administrative competence and proven leadership qualities to bear on the responsibilities associated with his appointment.
The Delta State Local Content Agency boss further said the confidence placed in Oborevwori by President Tinubu should inspire members of the Delta State political family and other stakeholders to support the governor as he undertakes the new assignment.
Kakor, while congratulating the governor, wished him wisdom, strength and success in the discharge of his responsibilities, stressing that his appointment was a well-deserved honour.
“Congratulations, Your Excellency, on this well-deserved honour. We are confident that you will bring your wealth of experience and proven leadership to bear on this important national assignment,” he said.
He added that the appointment would further provide Governor Oborevwori with an avenue to contribute to national political development while continuing to provide leadership in Delta State.
