Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and Senator Ede Dafinone have extended warm felicitations to Hon. Stella Okotete on the occasion of her 42nd birthday, commending her contributions to social development, party growth, and national progress.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori described Okotete, Executive Director, Business Development at Nigerian Export-Import Bank, as a committed advocate for empowerment, noting her consistent efforts in uplifting women, youths, and vulnerable groups.
The governor praised the former National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress for her dedication to people-oriented initiatives, which he said have strengthened the fortunes of the party in Delta State and across the country. He further described her as an illustrious daughter of the state whose contributions to human capital development have earned widespread admiration.
Oborevwori emphasized that Okotete’s passion for humanitarian service and grassroots engagement has positioned her as a role model for aspiring leaders, particularly women. According to him, her legacy of compassion and service reflects the ideals of inclusive governance and social responsibility.
“On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Delta State, I heartily congratulate my sister, Hon. Stella Okotete, on her 42nd birth anniversary,” the governor said, expressing confidence that she would continue to record greater milestones in her personal and public life.
In a similar vein, Senator Dafinone lauded Okotete’s steadfast dedication to service, leadership, and national development, describing her journey as one marked by purpose, excellence, and a deep commitment to making a difference.
The Delta Central lawmaker particularly acknowledged her immense contributions to the growth of the APC in Delta State, noting that her tenure as National Women Leader was pivotal in strengthening the party’s structure, mobilising women, and expanding its grassroots reach.
He also commended her passion for youth empowerment and economic inclusion, as well as her performance at NEXIM Bank, which he said underscores her competence and drive in advancing Nigeria’s economic interests.
“As you celebrate this new chapter, I pray that God grants you continued protection, greater wisdom, and abundant grace,” Dafinone stated, wishing her more accomplishments and success in the years ahead.
