In every democratic setting, leadership is ultimately measured not by noise, propaganda or political theatrics, but by visible impact, accessibility and genuine concern for the people. In Oshimili South State Constituency, many residents believe they have found such leadership in the person of Bridget Ifechukwukwu Anyafulu, the Member representing the constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.
As political conversations ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum, one message is becoming increasingly louder across communities in Oshimili South, continuity matters, and effective representation deserves another opportunity.

For many constituents, Hon. Bridget Anyafulu has distinguished herself not merely as a legislator occupying a political office, but as a compassionate representative whose service has directly impacted lives, especially in the area of humanity and social intervention.
Over the years, residents say the lawmaker has consistently demonstrated uncommon commitment to the welfare of the people through quiet but strategic interventions that have brought relief to struggling families, vulnerable residents and individuals facing medical and financial difficulties.

Perhaps one of the most remarkable aspects of her representation is her humanitarian approach to leadership. Beyond motions, legislative contributions and constituency engagements, Hon. Anyafulu has reportedly become a dependable source of hope for many residents who could not afford urgent medical treatment and healthcare expenses.
Several beneficiaries and community members have continued to commend her for personally assisting indigent constituents with hospital bills, medications and other healthcare-related support without turning such acts into media spectacles.
To many observers, this silent but impactful approach reflects a leader who understands that governance is ultimately about people, compassion and responsibility.

Constituents across various communities insist that her performance has earned her growing grassroots acceptance and public trust.
According an elderly Nkechi Arinze in Ezenei Avenue of Asaba, and other to political stakeholders within the constituency, experience in governance is not built overnight. It is earned through sacrifice, consistency, institutional knowledge and tested capacity.
Many supporters argue that this is why Oshimili South cannot afford to abandon the progress already made.
“Experience matters in legislative representation. Hon. Bridget Anyafulu has grown into the office, understands the needs of the people and has built valuable relationships that can attract greater development to the constituency. Continuity will help consolidate these gains,” a party supporter stated.
For Pastor Akwu-Ugo Monye, and several residents, the forthcoming political season should not become an experiment in uncertainty, but an opportunity to strengthen effective representation and sustain ongoing progress.
They maintain that continuity remains the most reliable pathway for expanding developmental efforts, deepening community engagement and ensuring that ongoing people-oriented initiatives are not disrupted.
Political analysts also believe that lawmakers who maintain strong grassroots connection and demonstrate empathy towards constituents often enjoy enduring public support because citizens naturally identify with leaders who genuinely care about their welfare.
Across Oshimili South, many residents now openly describe Hon. Anyafulu as accessible, experienced and compassionate — qualities they believe are essential for quality representation in the Delta State House of Assembly.
As the 2027 primary election approaches, supporters say the moment calls for unity, consolidation and renewed commitment towards sustaining purposeful leadership.
For them, the call is simple and clear:
Oshimili South is rising, and the journey of progress must continue.
HON. BRIDGET ANYAFULU FOR CONTINUITY 2027!
