I warmly felicitate with my Muslim brothers and sisters across Delta Central and Nigeria, on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration. Eid reminds us of the timeless virtues of faith, obedience, sacrifice, and total devotion to God, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim. It is a sacred season for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the values that strengthen our families, communities, and nation.
As we celebrate, I urge us all to embrace the spirit of peace, compassion, generosity, and unity that defines Eid al-Adha. Let us continue to show love to one another, support those in need, and uphold mutual respect regardless of ethnic or religious differences. Our collective progress depends on our ability to live together in harmony and work for the common good.
I sincerely appreciate the Muslim community in Delta Central for your enduring contributions to the peace, growth, and development of our district. Your resilience, enterprise, and commitment to peaceful coexistence remain deeply valued. I reaffirm my commitment to inclusive representation and to supporting initiatives that empower our youths, strengthen families, and improve livelihoods across our communities.
At this important moment in our national journey, I encourage all Nigerians to remain hopeful, united, and steadfast. Though challenges remain, we must continue to support one another and work collectively towards building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous nation for generations to come. With faith, patience, and shared responsibility, we will overcome our challenges and achieve lasting progress.
As you mark this blessed celebration, may Allah accept your prayers, sacrifices, and acts of worship. May He grant peace to our homes, wisdom to our leaders, and enduring prosperity to our nation.
I wish all Muslim faithful a joyful, peaceful, and spiritually fulfilling Eid al-Adha celebration.
Senator Ede Dafinone,
