The Coordinator of the Benin River Vanguard for APC in Delta State, Hon. Anthony Okotie, has reaffirmed his group’s unwavering commitment to the re-election of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in the 2027 general elections, declaring that the group is fully prepared to deploy its political structures, grassroots networks and resources towards ensuring victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Okotie made this declaration during the APC 2027 campaign flag-off held yesterday in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, where he expressed confidence in the growing political strength of the party and the determination of its faithful to deliver electoral victories across the state and beyond.

The former Member of the Delta State Post-Primary Education Board and prominent APC stalwart in Warri North Local Government Area said the Benin River Vanguard was not merely making a political declaration but was prepared to back its commitment with concrete action, sustained grassroots engagement and strategic mobilisation.
According to him, the group would give everything within its capacity, including time, energy, loyalty and material resources, to actualise the re-election of Governor Oborevwori and President Tinubu, alongside other APC candidates seeking elective positions in the 2027 general elections.
He stressed that the Benin River Vanguard had commenced a deliberate political realignment and mobilisation drive aimed at strengthening the APC’s electoral fortunes, particularly across the Benin River axis of Delta State.
Okotie noted that a massive political alignment was already underway, expressing optimism that the ongoing consultations, strategic engagements and grassroots mobilisation would significantly turn the political tide in favour of the APC’s 5/5 agenda.
He maintained that the group’s determination was anchored on the need to consolidate the party’s political influence, strengthen its grassroots presence and ensure that APC candidates receive the necessary support across all electoral constituencies.
Describing the Benin River Vanguard as a committed political platform with a strong grassroots orientation, Okotie said his members were prepared to intensify their engagements with community leaders, political stakeholders, youths, women and other critical segments of the electorate to expand the party’s support base.

The renowned philanthropist and grassroots mobilisation advocate further emphasised that the 2027 political project required consistency, sacrifice, unity of purpose and unwavering commitment from party faithful, noting that electoral victory could only be achieved through deliberate organisation and sustained engagement with the people.
He assured the leadership of the APC that the Benin River Vanguard would remain steadfast in its mobilisation efforts and would not relent until the party’s candidates emerged victorious at the polls.
“We are all out for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and all other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections. We are ready to give our time, energy, loyalty and resources to ensure that this project succeeds. We will not rest on our oars until our candidates emerge victorious,” Okotie declared.
The APC chieftain also called on party members and supporters across Delta State, particularly in the riverine communities, to close ranks, put aside personal differences and work collectively towards the success of the party’s 5/5 agenda.
He maintained that unity, effective coordination and grassroots participation would be critical factors in the party’s quest to consolidate its political standing in Delta State and secure a strong electoral mandate in 2027.
Okotie’s declaration at the Oleh campaign flag-off further underscores the growing political mobilisation among APC stakeholders in Delta State as the party’s supporters begin to articulate their strategies and consolidate structures ahead of the next general elections.
With the Benin River Vanguard pledging total commitment to the project, Hon. Anthony Okotie has reiterated his resolve to remain at the forefront of grassroots political mobilisation, insisting that the group would sustain its activities across the Benin River axis in pursuit of the APC’s 2027 electoral objectives.
For Okotie and his political associates, the message is clear: the Benin River Vanguard is fully mobilised, firmly committed and determined to work towards victory for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
