WARRI, DELTA STATE — Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has felicitated with the revered elder statesman and distinguished legal luminary, High Chief T. J. Onomigbo-Okpoko, OON, SAN, on the occasion of his 95th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message, Senator Dafinone described the nonagenarian as an eminent legal practitioner, respected statesman and distinguished Senior Okakuro of Okpe Kingdom, whose life has been defined by service, integrity and dedication to the advancement of society.
The Senator particularly commended High Chief Onomigbo-Okpoko’s outstanding contributions to the legal profession and administration of justice, noting that his tenure and accomplishments as a former Chairman of the Body of Benchers, alongside his distinguished career as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, have left an enduring mark on the nation’s legal landscape.
Dafinone also lauded the celebrant’s commitment to the preservation of cherished traditional values, describing him as a worthy custodian of the heritage and traditions of Okpe Kingdom and a source of inspiration to younger generations.
“On behalf of myself, the Dafinone family and the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, I celebrate your remarkable life and enduring legacy of honour, integrity and service,” the Senator said.
He prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant High Chief Onomigbo-Okpoko many more years in sound health, peace and fulfilment, while renewing his strength like that of the eagle.
