The NDLEA commander described the late Hajiya Sadiya Ibrahim Ladan as a committed and caring mother whose dedication to her family and positive impact on those around her would continue to be remembered.
He also assured the family of the command’s support and solidarity during the period of mourning.
Also present to receive the NDLEA delegation was the Head of Operations of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Lagos, Chief Mrs. Hadiza Ifeyinwa Omowole.
Earlier, Omowole had paid a separate condolence visit to the family, where she commiserated with the NAWOJ National Secretary and the Chairperson of NAWOJ, Jigawa State, both daughters of the deceased.
She prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) would forgive the shortcomings of the late Hajiya Sadiya Ibrahim Ladan, grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and comfort the bereaved family with the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
The condolence visits concluded with special prayers for the repose of the deceased’s soul and for divine comfort for the family, as colleagues, friends and well-wishers continued to identify with the NAWOJ National Secretary and her family during their moment of grief.
