The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly candidate for Warri South Constituency II, Hon. (Chief) Benson Obire, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, on their victories at the just-concluded APC presidential and governorship primaries.
Chief Obire, who spoke on behalf of his constituents, family, and political associates, described the victories as well-deserved and reflective of the confidence party members and Nigerians have in the leadership capacities of both leaders.
The incumbent Delta State House of Assembly lawmaker noted that Governor Oborevwori’s emergence as the APC governorship candidate did not come as a surprise, expressing confidence in the governor’s growing popularity and performance across the state.
According to him, the overwhelming support and affirmation received by Governor Oborevwori from party faithful across the 25 local government areas of Delta State is a clear indication of the trust and admiration he enjoys among Deltans.
Obire commended the governor’s leadership style and developmental strides, describing his performance in office as “quintessential, visible, and commendable.”
“Governor Oborevwori has continued to distinguish himself through impactful governance and people-oriented leadership. His achievements across the state remain a major talking point among the people,” he stated.
Speaking on President Tinubu’s emergence as the APC presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, Obire said the President’s affirmation was a strong endorsement of the achievements recorded under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He maintained that President Tinubu’s administration has made remarkable progress in repositioning the Nigerian economy and restoring investor confidence in the country.
According to Obire, the President has improved the nation’s economic outlook and laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth, stressing that continuity in leadership would further consolidate the gains already achieved.
“President Tinubu has transformed the Nigerian economy beyond what he met on ground. His policies are gradually yielding positive results, and he deserves another term to fully actualize his vision for the country,” he added.
The APC chieftain further pledged his unwavering loyalty and commitment, alongside that of his constituents, to President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, and the APC ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
He assured that party supporters in Warri South Constituency II were fully prepared to mobilize grassroots support to ensure victory for all APC candidates at every level.
Obire also offered prayers for divine wisdom, guidance, and protection for both leaders as they continue to steer the affairs of the nation and Delta State toward greater development and prosperity.
