Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and Senator Ede Dafinone have paid glowing tributes to elder statesman and prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Chief Mike Adiotomre, as he marked his 88th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori described the octogenarian as a distinguished administrator, respected political leader, and committed public servant whose contributions to Delta State and the nation have remained invaluable.
Chief Adiotomre, a native of Ovu-Inland in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, is widely regarded for his dedication to public service, community development, and peacebuilding.
The governor noted that Adiotomre’s commitment to truth, integrity, justice, and selfless service has earned him widespread respect and admiration across the state.
According to Oborevwori, the elder statesman has continued to provide leadership and guidance through his membership of the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council, where he has played a significant role in promoting peace, political stability, and unity.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I warmly congratulate you, Chief Mike Adiotomre, on the occasion of your 88th birth anniversary,” the governor stated.
He added that Adiotomre’s distinguished career in public service, dedication to peacebuilding, and exemplary contributions to political development have established him as one of Delta State’s most respected leaders.
Oborevwori also prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the celebrant, wishing him good health, strength, peace, and many more years of fulfilment and happiness.
Similarly, Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, felicitated Chief Adiotomre on attaining the milestone age of 88, describing him as a distinguished elder statesman and respected leader of the APC.
In a statement, Dafinone said Adiotomre’s life has been defined by honour, integrity, and service to humanity, adding that his unwavering commitment to justice, truth, and the advancement of the Urhobo people has endeared him to many.
The senator commended the celebrant’s contributions to peacebuilding and political stability in Delta State, particularly through his service on the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council.
“His voice has consistently promoted unity, moderation, and progress,” Dafinone said.
He further prayed for God’s continued grace upon the elder statesman, wishing him good health and many more years of impactful service.
