His sudden demise has sent shockwaves across the alumni body, with members describing the late Abosi as a humble, peaceful and unifying figure whose warmth and dedication left an enduring mark on the association.
The Acting President of UIAA Worldwide, Dr. Terrumun Hembaor Gajir, alongside members of the executive council, expressed deep grief over the loss, lamenting that the association had lost one of its most committed and dependable officers.
In emotional tributes, members recalled Abosi’s genuine smile, calm disposition and unwavering dedication to service, noting that he carried himself with rare humility and sincerity.
“You see that smile on Comrade Chief Uchemadu Abosi’s face was as genuine as his heart. He was one of the meekest and gentlest men we encountered in the last executive,” a member said.
